Okay, this is a long dream, so here we go. When I first went to bed, I had a dream about it being the end of the school day and us all being on the bus. In fact, I'm pretty sure in context it was the end of multiple school days, but just put in as one huge snippet of all of them, like a compilation. There, I had multiple interactions with my friends-- those interactions I cannot remember-- but I can remember the people I talked to. Now, this is where the dream has a... shifting point... I'm pretty sure I woke up, went to the bathroom, and went back to sleep before this. In summary, the first dream was about snippets of chatting with my friends on the school bus over the span of multiple days. The dream continued for a bit after I went to sleep again, but then it took such a random turn... My friend (R) and I talked about going back to India, and my friend (Z) wanted to come with us?!!?! This is also... the end of the school day... SO we decide that we're going to R's house in India, and multiple visuals of India and getting to her house ensue. Once we're there, I don't know what happened, but the scenes of being at her house... I don't remember them. The dream's vibe changes after this. I only remember going to MY house, both of my friend's are not there. And my my house, I mean my dad's house in India (I have two). There, I don't even know what my relatives were doing. It sounds so crazy to explain it. There were two relatives, my uncle (dad's borther), and my dead grandpa, who was pointing to the top of the house (the house did not resemble the real one) and pulled some metal/paint thing down?? It doesn't make much sense now but it used to. Then, it had a wheel almost like a pirate's but metal and minimalistic, cornflower blue and he started turning it and just wow. Then , the dream shifted from there and the surroundings were kind of barren... I was on my own, I mean, my relatives were still on the property but I was away from them. There was now a whitish-grayish tint on the dream. I don't remember the exact timeline of this part, but I was walking around this one building/big shed and there was something supernatural going on. There were these charcoal-looking drawings on the wall. They were these faces, but not human faces. They weren't particularly grotesque either, just weird. I think I called my grandpa over before then, and he started talking about two of them. I forgot what he said exactly, but for the second one he mentioned "fairies". Now, I know of the legends behind fairies. I forgot if I took it badly in the dream, but this is a bad omen to me in real life, though I'm not particularly superstitious-- just wary. I forgot what happened next... But then I found this room area on the side of the shed/complex, and I went inside to make some conspiracies. I'm pretty sure my mom did that with me too. I clearly remember feeling scared. My mom and I also went on expeditions outside the fence (there aren't really fences in India though?!) and If I remember correctly, it had barbed wires on it-- or it was just pure wall, without much color. Outside, I think there was an area where we both investigated, but got spooked by something (don't remember what). Then, something happened, and I think my mom wasn't there anymore, or some other girl was there but there was something about killing/murder and we were afraid of SOMETHING that could kill us. Okay now this part is kinda weird but I remember feeling so freaking scared... there was suddenly darkness/dark blue, (in a sort of grainy way, like if you close your eyes) and there was an emoticon, looking like this at first "0_0" or smt like that and then transforming into "^_^" EXACTLY like that, in white. Okay so now the simulations are kinda of like Roblox but this girl/me/my mom attaches a computer simulation to themself, 3 on one side of their torso, three on the other side, and one on either of their hands. The computer simulation would then check for "evidence" for a killer and if something went wrong in the simulation, then the box shaped simulations would implode/explode. Now, for the scene itself, think Roblox as I said. White boxes, some light green, and some light red. Now the simulation started at their left, with beeping sounds, but by their right hand, it exploded, leaving it on fire. Then, their right foot exploded. Then I woke up. My heart was actually pounding. Then I sleep again, and I'm back in school. Nothing scary. I had to stay behind at school though, (school does not look like my irl school) because I forgot my coat at my locker... Every. single. time I went there because it was a 'dream' layout not an actual school layout (though there were lockers). Finally once I called my mom, I was near an exit/entry door and these people who use the school after came in for an event/class. I saw my friend there and I was walking up the stairs when I heard them (I liked this school's layout though) and then we had fun with food and stuff like that... Their class involved food... or food fights... I don't remember much but I DO remember going to a kitchen area and this Asian woman (I assumed to be the mother of one of the kids) smiling at me (non-creepy) and my dream sorta ended while I was looking at tempura/chicken strips glazed in an Asian sauce. That's it!
Your dream is rich and complex, filled with various themes and symbols that can reflect your waking thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Here’s a breakdown of some key elements and what they might signify:
School Setting: School often represents learning, growth, and social dynamics. Being on a bus with friends suggests camaraderie and perhaps a desire for connection or nostalgia for simpler times. The compilation of school days might indicate a reflection on past experiences and the relationships that have shaped you.
Journey to India: Traveling to India with your friends could symbolize a search for connection with your roots, culture, or deeper aspects of yourself. It might also represent exploration and adventure. The friends involved might signify aspects of yourself, or less literally, your values and interests.
Relatives and Grandfather: Encountering your deceased grandfather symbolizes a connection to family legacy or wisdom. His actions, like pointing to the house and operating the metal/paint device, may suggest a need to pay attention to family history or unresolved matters. Metal or machinery might symbolize strength or functionality, while the color cornflower blue could relate to calmness, clarity, or communication.
Barren Surroundings and Charcoal Drawings: The barren landscape might indicate feelings of emptiness, isolation, or contemplation. The strange, non-human faces could represent parts of yourself that are unrecognizable, perhaps emphasizing fears or aspects of your identity you don’t fully understand. The mention of "fairies" and bad omens might indicate your anxieties about the supernatural or the unknown.
Fear and Safety: The feelings of fear and the looming threat of danger in the dream might represent anxiety or stress in your waking life. The idea of investigating outside a fenced area could symbolize feeling trapped or wanting to explore boundaries. The barbed wire could represent protection but also danger.
Simulations and Explosions: The simulation aspect might reflect feelings of losing control or navigating challenging situations in life. The imagery of explosions and flames could represent fear of failure or the pressure of expectations. The visual shift to a digital or game-like environment might signify your engagement with technology, creativity, or a craving for a different form of escapism.
Return to School: The return to a school setting without any immediate threats suggests a transition back to normalcy and safety. However, forgetting your coat may symbolize feelings of unpreparedness or vulnerability. The friendly interactions with classmates and the kitchen scene might hint at a desire for nurturing and comfort in your social life.
In summary, your dream seems to weave together themes of connection to the past, familial ties, fears and anxieties, exploration of identity, and the balance between safety and adventure. Reflecting on the emotions you felt during the dream can give you deeper insights into what aspects of your life may need more attention or resolution. Consider what fears or past experiences resonate with these themes in your waking life, as they often inform dream content.
